Welcome to Andrew's new blog
I am Jeff Marx, Andrew's father. This is the inaugural posting. The blog is dedicated to Andrew Marx and his 2q35 deletion.
Lara (my wife) and I will add blog entries sharing Andrew's progress as he continues to live with his genetic condition.
We understand there are many families out there raising children with unique genetic disorders. Just know that we also have a unique child. We hope in time to find others with the same or similar genetic condition. Then we can be a resource for each other.
Feel free to add comments at any time.
Warmest Regards,
Jeff M

We will be so grateful to have regular updates on Andrew and are so privileged to have you guys as friends! We love your family - thank you for sharing Andrew's story.

It's great to see your blog up and running. I'll be watching for updates to Andrews condition. Hopefully someone else in need will find this blog one day and find inspiration to stay positive.

Hello, I found your blog through google. Our son is also the only documented case with his particular deletion, 14q32.31. He also happens to be exactly 1 month older than your son

Michelle,
Thank you so much for your kind words. This is a newer site. I, like you, hope to reach out to others about rare chromosome disorders and my son's specific condition (you sharing your son's experience). My heart goes out to you knowing that your son is the only person with his disorder. Please check-in often. Also, send me a link to your blog and I will take a look.
